Charlie Slavík Revue has been successfully and with great acclaim for more than ten years presenting rock n roll and blues in all shades of these enchanting genres to domestic and European audiences. The music of this quartet is uncompromisingly pulsating, spontaneous, played with unrestrained energy. Another of Charlie Slavík's faces is similarly colorful and imaginative, this time presented in conjunction with the charismatic female vocal trio The Nightingales. It is composed with the exceptional singers Tereza Havelková, Radka Topinková and Josefína Čermáková. The predominantly author's repertoire is a characteristic feature of CHSR performances. Charlie's latest CD A Nice Reminder was recorded with renowned American musicians at the famous Sound Emporium in Nashville, TN.
Charlie Slavík is composer, lyricist, most recognized harmonica player in the Czech Republic. As the only Czech in history, in 2013 he participated in the prestigious international blues competition IBC in Memphis, TN, USA, where he advanced to the sixth place. He is a corporate player of the German company Seydel - the oldest manufacturer of harmonicas in the world.
