Charlie Slavík Revue
Charlie Slavík has been successfully captivating both Czech and European audiences with rock 'n' roll and blues in all their mesmerizing shades for over twenty-five years. His music is uncompromisingly pulsating, full of raw energy, and performed with unbridled passion. His latest original album, "A Nice Reminder," was recorded with renowned American musicians at the legendary Sound Emporium studio in Nashville, TN. For the upcoming album, a new member of CHSR, guitarist and music producer Tomáš Frolík, is also contributing as a co-writer. Charlie Slavík is a composer, lyricist, and the most recognized harmonica player in the Czech Republic. In 2013, he became the first and only Czech musician in history to participate in the prestigious International Blues Challenge (IBC) in Memphis, TN, where he reached the semi-finals. His ability to adapt the harmonica across genres is reflected in the many recordings on which he has appeared as a soloist. He performs with a wide range of both Czech and international bands, not only in Europe but also in the USA. His credits also include numerous film score recordings. Charlie is an endorsed artist of the German company Seydel, the oldest harmonica manufacturer in the world.
