Yo Soy Indigo (USA/GB/SWE/CZ/SK)

Yo Soy Indigo is an original folk-funk band formed around singer, songwriter, and guitarist Emily Thiel from Connecticut, USA. Her vibrant and often personal songwriting is backed up by her powerful vocal performance and the brilliant assembly of the other members. The band itself was born out of a jam session in an old factory in 2014, and has grown to what it is today: a mish-mosh of wonderfully weird, international musicians with blazing solos, soulful melodies, deep lyrical expression, and a good serving of humor. The band calls itself "folk-funk", which just scratches the surface of the free-flowing genres the band explores.

At this concert we will be saying our farewells and giving deep thanks to Andy Fell who has been with us since the very beginning.

In addition, we will be proudly presenting Adam Pospíšil, a fantastic violinist who among many other things has played extensively with Roma musicians. Adam is the newest member of Yo Soy Indigo; please come and welcome him with us!
