Walter Fischbacher Trio
plays The Beatles

Walter Fischbacher, a native Austrian living in New York, appeared in the Czech Republic and Slovakia in Laco Deczi's New York Jazz Cellula. Later it was with his own trio, then for years he accompanied various American or New York-based jazz singers. In the format of a separate piano trio, they play energetic modern and contemporary jazz, where the instrumental mastery of all three musicians needs no emphasis. In 2022, the trio recorded a new album, a tribute to the immortal music of The Beatles, composed of interesting and sophisticated arrangements of famous songs by this legendary band. With this program, the band is now embarking on a major Central European tour, and one of the stops will be the Jazz Dock. You can look forward to extraordinary interplay, instrumental virtuosity and brilliant musical material composed of the best that the world of rock and pop has ever offered.
