Vojtěch Polej - Absolventský koncert KJJ
Graduation concert of saxophonist Vojtěch Polej, who is finishing his studies at the Jaroslav Ježek Jazz Conservatory. The concert will be divided into two parts. In the first half he will perform with his band Bemsha Q consisting of Vojtěch Polej - ts; František Vaníček - trp; Matyáš Papp - p; David Krpálek - b; Václav Švestka - dr and as a guest Petr Kalfus on alto saxophone. There will be original stuff and also Wayne Shorter and Keith Jarrette. The second part of the evening will be fusion jazz with Vojtěch Polej - ts; Karel Píša - g; Tomáš Hykl - b; Vojtěch Horal - dr and as a guest Šimon Zitko - synth. T he programme will include compositions by Joe Zawinul, Joshua Redman and Herbie Hancock.
