Veronika Vítová was born in Prague. She discovered Jazz at the age of 28, when she decided to apply for – and was accepted into the – Jazz vocal studies program at Jaroslav Jezek College. Jazz changed her life completely. She met the best musicians and created her own projects. Now she has her own band and at this moment is working on her debut CD. In 2011, Veronika established the vocal Jazz a cappella group SKETY. They won the Jirkovsky pisnovar in 2011, Vokal.Total (international competition in Graz) in 2014, and brought home two second prizes from Aarhus and Tampere in 2017. They’ve toured in Taiwan and Australia and are currently performing all around Europe. Veronika is also a regular guest of the Jazz Dock orchestra, a contemporary Jazz big band housed in Jazz Dock. She loves classical music, and is lucky to cooperate as a solo singer with the Berg Orchestra, an ensemble performing modern classic music. She is also a member of Musica Panica ensemble, performing early music.
