JAZZ ON THE ROOF

We’re bringing you a special series of open air summer concerts on the roof of the Jazz Dock! Every Saturday at 4 p.m.

Veronika Vítová was born in Prague. She discovered Jazz at the age of 28, when she decided to apply for – and was accepted into the – Jazz vocal studies program at Jaroslav Jezek College. Jazz changed her life completely. She met the best musicians and created her own projects. In 2011, Veronika established the vocal Jazz a cappella group SKETY. They won the Jirkovsky pisnovar in 2011, Vokal.Total (international competition in Graz) in 2014, and brought home two second prizes from Aarhus and Tampere in 2017. They’ve toured in Taiwan and Australia and are currently performing all around Europe. Veronika is also a regular guest of the Jazz Dock orchestra, a contemporary Jazz big band housed in Jazz Dock. She loves classical music, and is lucky to cooperate as a solo singer with the Berg Orchestra, an ensemble performing modern classic music. She is also a member of Musica Panica ensemble, performing early music.

Admission: CZK150, children under 15 years free, seniors over 65 years 20% discount. It is not possible to book specific seats for this concert.

The concert will take place inside the club in case of bad weather.

According to the order of the government of the Czech Republic, entry to the concert is limited by valid regulations. We ask each spectator to present a confirmation at the entrance to the club that he/she has been vaccinated, tested negatively (self-test is enough), or that he/she has already contracted Covid-19 in the last 180 days.
