Varhan´s Groovy Jamm
Varhan's Groovy Jamm is a jazz-rock-funk group founded by composer and conductor Varhan Orchestrovič Bauer together with drummer Radek Němejc, originally created due to the studio recording for the soundtrack to the film Profile – Jan Kaplický (2004). Over time, this music began to take on a life of its own and many concerts took place in clubs, on ships, and at corporate and private events. The repertoire consists of Varhan's compositions and covers of film scores, jazz standards and the Beatles. Over the years, many of the Czech Republic’s greatest musicians have been in the group’s lineup (Jan Kučera, Mirek Lacko, Dan Fiedler, Béďa Šmarda, Tomáš Křemenák, Antonín Šturma, Vladimír Kliment, David Růžicka). Currently, the formation plays as a quartet.
