Tvrdý/Kabrna/Stivín
Adam Tvrdý is a guitarist and composer with a multi-genre, intense expression. In his interpretations and improvisations, he focuses on his original musical ideas while respecting the traditions and vocabulary of the style being played. Adam has been playing guitar since the age of six, later learning to play bass and drums. Since childhood, he’s been influenced by blues and rock, especially Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page and Eric Clapton. Later, he discovered the music of Miles Davis and started to focus on Jazz, his main influences being Pat Metheny, George Benson, Wes Montgomery and John Scofield. Adam’s original music could be labeled as contemporary or modern Jazz with elements of his most influential genres: Blues, Rock, Modern and Classical Jazz, Latin and Classical music.
Adam Tvrdy has already made an album in trio with a Hammond organ, and that is his favourite instrumentation to revisit. This time the organ will be played by a great Czech keyboard player Ondrej Kabrna. On drums they will have an outstanding Jiri Stivin Jr.
