Takin’Off 25 years!

Takin'Off is an independent music formation that plays energetic dance music and with this concert they will celebrate 25 years on the Czech music scene! The group produces, with a few exceptions, original songs on the border of funk, soul, pop, hiphop and R´n´B genres. The individual members of the group are mostly involved in other musical projects and are busy instrumentalists on domestic stages as well as sought-after studio players. The most frequent vocalist today is Kateřina Romansová, and in addition to the five-member brass section, rapper Henry D is also an essential part of the band.

Dj Negative is one of the most experienced technical Djs on the Czech scene. He has been actively DJing since 1996. The flipped crossfader on his first mixing desk gave rise to the pseudonym Negative. Over the years he has gained experience in various bands across genres - the most famous projects include Stephunk T, Navigators, Notes From Prague, and Portless. He has been involved in club djing since the beginning of his career and alongside scratching, it is his main domain of focus. Between 2007 and 2012 he hosted his own show on Prague's Spin radio. In 2022, he became multiple champion in the Czech-Slovak DJ competition IDA.

Stephunk T is a Czech musician and multimedia producer who has been performing live in many arenas around the world since 1990. During this time he has led various musical groups including Liquid Harmony. They have been highly acclaimed in their time and have toured all over Europe and the US to great reviews. Their album Living in Liquid (Sony Music-S3) was the starting point for live electronic music in the Czech Republic (CZ Grammy Award 1997 and Colorfactory CZ Grammy Award 1998).

Admission for standing until December 31st 350 CZK, from January 1st 450 CZK, at the door on the day of the concert 500 CZK. For seating only a few seats at high tables for two on the sides for 800 CZK/1 place.
