Student Big Band Nijmegen (NL)

Groove through the roof with the Student Big Band Nijmegen (SBBN) from the Netherlands! In honor of their first lustrum, the SBBN is coming to Prague to share their love for music at Jazz Dock—a love story that began in 2016, when jazz musician Roy ten Berge and conductor Berend van Deelen combined their shared passion for music and established the Student Big Band Nijmegen (SBBN). Within a short period of time, the SBBN has grown into a successful Big Band consisting of 22 talented musicians who put their hearts and souls into their music. Together with the phenomenal Nijmeegs Student orchestra CMC they have had sold-out shows in Nijmegen. In the summer of 2019, they toured in Berlin as the Nijmegen Fusion Orchestra (NFO). Moreover, they have had collaborations with leading musicians, among them pianist and composer Martin Fondse, trombonist Jeroen Verberne and the Dutch Jazz Choir.
