Soul Ožil

Soul Ožil is a new phenomenon on the Prague funk scene, an energetic band with a precisely phrased brass section, uncompromising rhythmics and a charismatic singer! This nine-member ensemble focuses on genres that are often neglected today – soul, funk and R&B – and emphasizes quality, precision and an incredible groove that will leave no listener in peace. The band mainly plays covers from artists such as Tower of Power, Aretha Franklin, Al Jarreau, Fred Wesley and others, but also some of their own compositions. If you like energetic funk full of sharp brass riffs, smothering rhythms and great vocals, then come see and feel the soul revived!
