Roman Pokorný will perform for the first time at Jazz Dock with his band Blues Orphans, delivering energetic blues infused with charismatic vocals and stunning guitar solos!
We can undoubtedly call Roman Pokorný one of the best contemporary Czech guitarists with an overlap far beyond the borders of our republic. The inventive composer and charismatic singer is a fixture of our program. The winner of the Andel Music Award in the Jazz & Blues category proves how inspiring the combination of jazz technique with blues feeling can be. This time they will perform with Blues Box Heroes, a group playing blues crossover. Well-known blues standards and original songs by Pokorný will be heard.
