Robert Balzar Trio

Robert Balzar is a leading Czech bass player and his trio is considered to be the absolute top of the Czech jazz scene. The latest project, a new DVD of a live performance recorded in a forest entitled One Day, was released in co-production with Czech TV. To date, the Robert Balzar Trio has seven CDs to its credit. One of them, Tales, is a collaboration with the American jazz guitarist John Abercrombie. His albums Vuja-Dé and Discover Who We Are were recorded and mixed in New York City at Sear Sound Studio with the renowned engineer James Farber.
