Petr Dvorský Trio

The members of the trio are long-time teammates and members of the debuting quartet The Four, which together with saxophonist Karel Růžička Jr., achieved a number of successes and awards in the 90s.  The old-new formation freely follows the previous period and offers a new author's program consisted of compositions by double bassist Petr Dvorský and other authors (Oscar Pettiford, Sam Jones, Karel Růžička Sr.) arranged for an acoustic jazz trio.  The generational affinity of the members of the trio and their frequent cooperation in other projects also creates a precondition for a unified musical language and extraordinary instrumental interplay.  At the same time, this project can be described as the premiere of bassist Petr Dvorský in the role of band leader and the use of his rich experience.  Notable projects and ensembles by Petr Dvorský include Emil Viklický Trio, Concept Art Orchestra, as well as foreign collaborations with stars such as Mark Vinci, Ingrid Jensen, Randy Brecker, and Walter Fischbacher.
