The independent label Polí5 recently released the third album of this experimental groove-jazz band, Muff. Muff’s concerts consist of original compositions, inspired by Miles Davis’ 70´s groups, Wayne Shorter, Art Ensemble of Chicago, and Medeski, Martin & Wood. Their first album released on Animal Music (2010) was highly rated by critics, as was their second album, christened at Muff’s home club – Jazz Dock (sax, g, keys, b, dr).
