Matyáš Papp
Matyáš Papp is currently studying at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory and College under the guidance of V. Křišťan and I. Parker. Despite his young age, this highly talented pianist has already successfully participated in numerous competitions and both jazz and classical concerts, either as a solo performer or as a band member. This is not his first time playing at Jazz Dock — he has previously performed here at conservatory concerts and jam sessions. He has collaborated with leading figures of the Czech jazz scene at jazz workshops, including Richard Šanda, Daniel Šoltis, Andy Schofield, Petr Dvorský, and others. The concert will feature compositions and arrangements from various jazz styles, as well as Matyáš’s original works, performed by Bemsha Q and Speak no Emil sextet (ft. Richard Šanda).
