Markéta Veselá – New CD release

Painter, pianist and composer Markéta Veselá releases her new album and music video!

The album is accompanied by leading musicians of the Czechoslovak music scene: the exceptional double bass player Rastislav Uhrík, the string quartet Unique Quartet in arrangements by the distinctive trombonist Jan Jirucha and American guitarist and producer Geoff Tyson. The compositions are driven by a deep emotional sentiment on the border of jazz, pop and lounge. The poetry of her impressive aural painting is reflected not only in the music but in the author´s lyrics. Blues guitarist Jiří Maršíček will perform as a special guest. The music video was directed by Czech filmmaker Johan Kolínský.
