Their shared reverence for rural and hill country blues has taken them to numerous countries, evoking a bittersweet, timeless quality not often heard today. Luke Winslow-King, a guitarist and singer-songwriter from Cadillac, Michigan, blends delta blues, roots-rock, gospel, and folk music into a soulful sound. His masterful slide guitar, captivating lyrics, and rich voice exude authenticity. A composition graduate from The University of New Orleans, Luke was named ‘Best Blues Artist’ by Gambit Magazine. His 2018 hit, ‘I’m Glad Trouble Don’t Last Always,’ has surpassed 11 million streams on Spotify. Luke continues to captivate audiences worldwide with dynamic performances and a personal connection with listeners. His 9th studio album, ‘Flash-A-Magic,’ was released in September 2024. Roberto Luti, a Tuscan slide guitar maestro, is a founding member of Playing For Change and has collaborated with icons such as Taj Mahal, Keb Mo, Keith Richards, Ringo Starr, and Dr. John, earning over 100 million YouTube plays. His unique slide guitar style, rooted in Mississippi and Chicago blues, is influenced by soul and African traditions.
