Pippo Corvino & Ján Kopčák
Hevhetia
CHANGE OF PROGRAMME: unfortunately Krzysztof Kobyliński will not perform due to health reasons. We managed to get an equally good replacement - guitarist Pippo Corvino.
Both musicians move on the borderline of jazz and classical music in their own original works, while penetrating the preserve of other genres.
Slovak saxophonist Ján Kopčák works as a teacher, composer and multi-genre instrumentalist. For example, the album The Long Bright Dark, which he recorded for the Hevhetia label with guitarist Pippo Corvino, a Montenegrin based in Vienna, was one of the strongest jazz acts in Central Europe last year. His solo project under the fitting name ZenSax, which he will perform at the Jazz Dock, will bring ambient music with a meditative or hypnotic effect, enhanced by special effects and live samples. He will have the first part of the evening.
