Kristina Barta Quartet

Kristina Barta is a Czech composer and pianist. After studying classical music and composition at the Prague Conservatory, she graduated from the Academy of Music Arts in Prague, specializing in jazz piano. She has won some international competitions: Krokus Jazz Festival 2017 in Poland, OSA composer's competition, Jazz Prix 2015 and others… EMA29, her debut album was released in 2017 on the Austrian label Alessa Records. The Kristina Barta Quartet plays contemporary creative jazz, reflecting her earlier classical music studies with an emphasis on melodies and emotions.
