Kováč/Baroš/Ševčík Trio (CZ/SK)
Kováč, Baroš, Ševčík met each other on the tour of saxophonist Milo Suchomel for the first time almost twenty years ago. Since that time, they have collaborated in various projects together. Klaudius Kováč is one of the most sought-after teachers of jazz piano and improvisation in Slovakia. He teaches at the conservatory and it can be said that he is one of the most prominent personalities in his field. He performs in the bands Nothing but swing, Three pianos, Juraj Bartoš Q., and the Ondřej Štveráček Quartet feat. Gene Jackson—among others. Tomáš Baroš and Marian Ševčík have collaborated with such world-class players as Alex Sipiagin, Kevin Hayes, Aaron Goldberg, Bob Mintzer, Danny Grissett, Kalman Oláh, Piotr Wylezol and Harry Sokal. On the Czechoslovak scene they work with Lukáš Oravec, Ida Kelarová, the CZ-SK big band and also the Gustav Brom big band. The Kováč/Baroš/Ševčík Trio will play the music of legendary Slovakian pianist Ernest Oláh.
Admission seating CZK 270, standing CZK 170. There is no need to reserve a seat when purchasing a seating ticket.
From each ticket will be donated CZK 10 to the public collection "SOS Ukraine", which takes place under the auspices of People in Need organization.
