Josef Kolo 7tet

Josef Kolo 7tet is paradoxically quartet of front Czech and Slovak jazz players who show their inclination to humor and avantgarde in music. Sound of this formation without harmonic instrument rises from diffusion of polyphonic lines of two tenorsaxophones (Petr Kalfus + Marcel Bárta) and interaction of peculiar rhythmic section performed by doublebass player Rasťo Uhrik and drummer Dano Šoltis. Their music is partly compound but mainly improvised. That creates space for each and every concert to be unrepeatable musical experience (ts,ts,b,dr).
