Joe Karafiát & Underground Blues Session

Joe Karafiát is a singer, solo performer and guitarist of the legendary Czech alternative rock group Plastic People of the Universe. He is the author of the lyrics of his songs, which are inspired by the poetry of J.H. Krchovský, Pavel Šrut and Egon Bondy. In his solo performance, Joe Karafiát excels in playing the electric guitar in combination with singing, and brings his listeners a unique musical experience. As part of the Underground Blues Session group, together with musicians Jan Martínek (virtuoso of the blues and rock school), and guitarist Petr Roškaňuk, they will play blues rock music, in which their lightness, joy and musical creativity are articulated. Other guests you can look forward to are saxophonist Kamil Janský (from the band Laura and her Tigers), drummer Milan Panocha and bassist Wenca Březina.
