Marie Spaemann

The musical journey of the Viennese cellist, singer and composer Maria Spaemann is shaped by musical diversity as well as a fascination and enthusiasm for exploring diverse creative processes. Her music is a combination of jazz and soul, but it does not deny the influences of classical music. As a cellist she won the Johannes Brahms International Competition in Pörtschach.

Marie Spaemann has also played as a cellist with a number of orchestras (North German Philharmonic, Zagreb Philharmonic, Croatian Chamber Orchestra, etc.), regularly performs at a number of international festivals and is a soloist in The World of Hans Zimmer concert programme.

Support: Tea Sofia

Tea Sofia is an 18-year-old Czech singer and songwriter with Serbian-Lithuanian roots. In 2018, she rocked the local pop scene with her hit Pretend (over 75,000 plays on Spotify) and then her first EP Unwind. Now she is preparing her debut album STANI, on which she collaborates with producer Bojan Bojić and from which she has already released three singles. In them she sings not only in English for the first time, but also in her native Serbian.

Among the young contemporary artists, Tea Sofia stands out especially for her distinctive and strong voice, her undeniable talent as a composer and her lyrics, which are an authentic testimony of Generation Z. This was also appreciated by the 18-member international jury of the Czeching Radio Wave competition when they named the singer the winner in 2020. As a result, Tea Sofia performed at the international showcase festival Eurosonic Noorderslag 2021 (ESNS) in Groningen, the Netherlands.
