JAZZ DOCK ORCHESTRA ft. Brian Charette

NYC organist, Brian Charette, who for years has worked out an engaging sound at the Jazz Dock with an interesting wind ensemble, Music for Organ Sextette, expands his sound for big band. Last year Charette and Petr Kalfus were hanging out at the Jazz Dock when Petr suggested to Brian that he write some music for big band. Charette, always up for a challenge, said "Sure". The music will be a mix of originals and jazz standards arranged in that wild, whimsical way Charette approaches all of his music. The JAZZ DOCK ORCHESTRA has been Jazz Dock’s flagship band since the first year of its successful operation, featuring fourteen concerts with its own repertoire and compositions by the world's great authors. During this time, the big band has played intensively, gaining a regular audience and boldly traversing its second year of existence.
