JAZZ DOCK ORCHESTRA plays Chick Corea!

For the April concert Jazz Dock Orchestra will new arrangements by Andy Schofield of classic tunes by Chick Corea, based mainly around Corea's compositions from the 1970s and 80s. The form and structure of his compositions is so intricate and complex,  they transfer perfectly to the big band format, allowing space for soloists, as well as providing challenging ensemble parts for the band.

The JAZZ DOCK ORCHESTRA has been the flagship of Jazz Dock since the beginning of its successful operation. The orchestra consists of leading players of the Czech and European jazz scenes, and the repertoire includes original compositions, as well as compositions by the world's great composers. Boldly sailing through its fourth year of existence, our resident big band plays at the Jazz Dock every third Monday of the month and has already gained a dedicated audience!

Admission: seating CZK 520, standing CZK 270. There is no need to reserve a seat when purchasing a seating ticket.
