JAZZ DOCK ORCHESTRA plays Bob Brookmeyer!

After the great success of the concert with the world-famous singer Kurt Elling, our big band will play a second concert this month concert this month. They will return to instrumental orchestral jazz and play several compositions and arrangements by the famous trombonist and composer Bob Brookmeyer! This legendary big band arranger has collaborated with the world's best jazz orchestras (such as the Thad Jones / Mel Lewis Orchestra or the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra) as well as jazz stars (Stan Getz, Bill Evans, Gerry Mulligan, Jim Hall and others). The repertoire for this evening will be complemented by original compositions by Andy Schofield and Jan Jirucha.

The JAZZ DOCK ORCHESTRA has been Jazz Dock’s flagship band from the beginning of its successful operation, featuring seventeen concerts with its own repertoire and compositions by the world's great authors. During this time, the big band has played intensively, gaining a regular audience and boldly traversing its second year of existence.

Admission: seating CZK 400, standing CZK 270. There is no need to reserve a seat when purchasing a seating ticket.

According to the order of the government of the Czech Republic, entry to the concert is limited by valid regulations. We ask each spectator to present a confirmation at the entrance to the club that he/she has been vaccinated or that he/she has already contracted Covid-19 in the last 180 days.
