JAZZ DOCK ORCHESTRA
plays Big Band Classics!

The October concert of our orchestra will be dedicated to classic compositions from the repertoire of the world's most famous big bands between 1940-1980. The scores of Count Basie, Buddy Rich, Duke Ellington, Thad Jones or Bob Florence promise the best arrangements that can be heard in this field of music. They will play two compositions from the repertoire of each mentioned orchestra and that will guide you through the development of jazz orchestral music of the second half of the 20th century.

The JAZZ DOCK ORCHESTRA has been Jazz Dock’s flagship band from the beginning of its successful operation, featuring seventeen concerts with its own repertoire and compositions by the world's great authors. During this time, the big band has played intensively, gaining a regular audience and boldly traversing its second year of existence.
