Alita Moses Band (USA/CZ)

Her pleasant voice, good timing, easy phrasing and her smile make it a joy to look at and listen to her. The longing is in her face while she sings – following mostly the original melody with some modern embellishments, perfect intonation, good sound, very personal touch. The band puts us into Latin atmosphere – the audience is enthusiastic about the lively performance. Again: WOW! Alita Moses, from West Hartford, ConnctitutT, USA, can’t remember a time when she wasn’t surrounded by music. Now, entering her senior year as a Jazz Vocal Major at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, she draws her versatility from performances at the Essentially Ellington Jazz Competition in NYC, solo work with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, and writing/singing with r&b, indie, and jazz bands in the Philadelphia area. Alita will be accompanied by outstanding musicians: Walter Phishbacher (USA) – p, Petr Dvorský (CZ) – b, Andy Winter / Ulf Stricker - dr.
