Pianist and composer, Jan Andr, has recently moved from the simple keyboard to the Hammond organ. Inspired by the New York club scene, his six-member band has embarked on a livelier form of jazz, linking tradition to genres such as funk or soul. The combination of the Hammond organ trio and a three-member brass section makes The Track Inspection a unique group on the Czech jazz scene. Its repertoire consists mainly of original compositions by the band members.
