Gwyn Ashton ft. Jitka Vejsadová

Czech violinist Jitka Vejsadova joins Welsh-Australian blues and rock songwriter/singer/guitarist/producer Gwyn Ashton for a mesmerising journey into Celtic, bluegrass, country, roots and blues music.

Gwyn Ashton has released 10 albums to date and is well-known in the blues-rock world. As a duo with Jitka Vejsadová, their debut performance was in November 2023 at a photographic exhibition for the late Vlastimila Oliho Helcla at Prague’s prestigious Divadlo Archa. In pre-production for a record release, these two musicians have joined forces and fill the stage with music and instruments, incorporating guitar, violin, bass, and foot drums with electronic effects to produce a rich, full-bodied sound. Gwyn Ashton is back with a red-hot new contemporary swamp blues, rock, folk album through Cadiz Music, London. Mojosoul celebrates his 50th anniversary of playing guitar and is featured on Ashton’s 10th album release.  Ashton has previously recorded with members of Whitesnake, Deep Purple, Robert Plant's and Rory Gallagher's bands and many more.
