GROOVE DOCK – JAZZ TO DANCE

Jazz, fusion, soul, funk, latino, world music and especially vinyl – all this is waiting for you in the May issue of our DJ dance party, which bursts every other Saturday at Jazz Dock. On the podium will be a club resident Mr. Ultrafino and musical enthusiast Adam K, accompanied by Mikikonga, one of the most sought-after percussionists in the Czech Republic.

Mr. Ultrafino – Groove Dock resident, co-creator of Prague jazz/funk DJ scene, strictly vinyl player with more than two decades of musical experience. His sets are built mainly on 60's and 70's funk, soul and jazz but they might be just as well spiced up with disco, hiphop, latin, reggae and rare obscurities from pretty much any musical genre.

Adam K. – Long-time vinyl collector, music aficionado and the program director of Slovakian Radio Piešťany. Adam’s mixes of jazz, fusion, soul, funk, latino and world music made him one of the most widely followed DJs on Mixcloud and brought him several awards in Best Crate Digger or Most Eclectic categories.

Mikikonga – One of the busiest and demanded Czech percussionists. As a member of the Champion Sound / Livě Band played at the world largest dance events such as IBE the Notorious, BOTY International, JUSTE DEBOUT, OUTBREAK Europe or SDK Europe.
