Groove Dock – JAZZ TO DANCE!

The winter edition is here! Come defrost with our DJs! From swing to bebop, hardbop to Latin, fusion to acid jazz and onward to the most contemporary club sounds. Mixed and served exclusively from vinyl. This time with DJ Mr. Ultrafino and his guests: Pocoloco and Tomáš Kerle.

Mr. Ultrafino – Groove Dock resident, co-creator of Prague jazz/funk DJ scene, strictly vinyl player with more than two decades of musical experience. His sets are built mainly on 60's and 70's funk, soul and jazz, but they might be just as well spiced up with disco, hiphop, Latin, reggae and rare obscurities from pretty much any musical genre.

Pocoloco – DJ, record collector, founding member and a driving force behind the Cabaret Manana collective. His sets tend to accent lesser known and rhythmically challenging tracks varying from afro-cuban to funky tropical and r‘n‘b.

Tomáš Kerle – One of the most versatile Czech drummers and percussionists deeply devoted to sub-Saharan African rhythms. Tomas is a founding member of bands such as Pararingapatam, Marimba Mama n Allstar Refjúdží Band and also a regular percussionist-of-choice for the Cabaret Maňana DJ collective.
