Jazz To Dance
Tris Kayo, veteran of London's DJ scene, will be the main star of the February edition of Groove Dock! He will be supported on stage by resident Mr. Ultrafino and also by one of the most versatile Czech drummers and percussionists, Tomáš Kerle.
Tris Kayo – Tris learnt his trade in London, playing wide variety of styles from hip hop and funk to jungle and jazz. His set could be heard in clubs in the UK, France, Monako, where he was offered a radio show or at festivals, such as Gilles Peterson Worldwide.
Mr. Ultrafino – Groove Dock resident, co-creator of Prague jazz/funk DJ scene, strictly vinyl player with more than two decades of musical experiences. His sets are built mainly on 60's and 70's funk, soul and jazz but they might be just as well spiced up with disco, hiphop, latin, reggae and rare obscurities from pretty much any musical genre.
Tomáš Kerle – one of the most versatile Czech drummers and percussionists deeply devoted to sub-Saharan African rhythms. Tomáš is a founding member of bands such as Pararingapatam, Marimba Mama n Allstar Refjúdží Band and also a regular percussionist-of-choice for Cabaret Mañana DJ collective.
Admission: seating CZK 400, standing CZK 250. There is no need to reserve a seat when purchasing a seating ticket.
