JAZZ TO DANCE!

Two experienced DJs and one of the most versatile Czech drummers and percussionists – this is the spring release of our jazz-dance night Groove Dock!

DJ Yukimura – his prodigious CV and a deep musical knowledge ranging from dub to afrobeat and world music makes Yukimura one of the most experienced Prague DJs. He is also a producer, promoter, vinyl collector and program director of several music clubs. He co-founded musical projects such as Al-Yaman, Mustakillah Sound and the label United Forces of Dub.

Mr. Ultrafino – Groove Dock resident, co-creator of Prague jazz/funk DJ scene, strictly vinyl player with more than two decades of musical experience. His sets are built mainly on 60's and 70's funk, soul and jazz, but they might be just as well spiced up with disco, hiphop, latin, reggae and rare obscurities from pretty much any musical genre.

Tomáš Kerle – one of the most versatile Czech drummers and percussionists deeply devoted to sub-Saharan African rhythms. Tomáš is a founding member of bands such as Pararingapatam, Marimba Mama or Allstar Refjúdží Band and also a regular percussionist-of-choice for Cabaret Mañana DJ collective.
