GROOVE DOCK – JAZZ TO DANCE!

Already the 45th edition of the legendary Groove Dock! Please welcome on our stage Mr. Ultrafino, DJ Yukimura and Papis Nyass. Swing, bebop, hardbop, latin, fusion, acidjazz to contemporary club sound. Mixed and served exclusively from vinyl.

Mr. Ultrafino

Groove Dock resident, co-creator of Prague jazz/funk DJ scene, strictly vinyl player with more than two decades of experience. His sets are built mainly on 60's and 70's funk, soul and jazz, but they might be just as well spiced up with disco, hiphop, latin, reggae and rare obscurities from pretty much any musical genre.

DJ Yukimura

His experience and a deep musical knowledge ranging from dub to afrobeat and world music makes Yukimura one of the most experienced Prague DJs. He is also a producer, promoter, vinyl collector and program director of several music clubs. He has co-founded musical projects such as Al-Yaman, Mustakillah Sound, United Forces of Dub label.

Papis Nyass

Drummer, percussionist, dancer and multi-talented musician born in Gambia. He specializes in African percussions such as conga, bonga, djembe, sabar or marimba and has been a regular co-player with such names as Lenka Dusilová, Ephraim Goldinor Alan Vitouš.
