Emil Viklický Trio
Festival Věčná naděje
During the autumn of last year, the Japanese label Venus released a new album by the Emil Viklický Trio called Moravian Rhapsody – The Moon Sleeping in the Cradle. The jazz legend with influences from classical music, including major operas, plays the piano, Petr Dvorský on double bass, and Jiří Stivín Jr. on drums. The compositions, which do not deny musical inspiration from both banks of the Morava River, were recorded by the trio in the Kavčí Mountains, but they were also previously performed at concerts in Japan, where their music was applauded by a huge fan, the world writer Haruki Murakami.
The trio will perform as part of the 8th annual Everlasting Hope festival
