Alba Carmona & Jesús Guerrero

Singer and composer Alba Carmona moves between traditional and contemporary music. Her work is influenced by flamenco, folk and world music. The Barcelona native was the first person in the world to obtain the highest degree of Cante Flamenco at the Catalan College of Music. She has sung in flamenco and jazz bands, including the Flamenco Big Band with Perico Sambeat. She has also appeared in the Flamenco Hoy show directed by Carlos Saura, directed by Chan Dominguez, and has also been in the all-female band Las Migas. In 2018, she launched her solo career and released an eponymous album, composed and written mostly by herself. The album perfectly reflects her eighteen years of artistic experience. The album was produced by Jesús Guerrero, one of the most important flamenco guitarists in Spain. The two also come together in this engaging duo.
