David Dorůžka Trio

Guitarist and composer David Dorůžka, whose significance and activities reach well beyond the Czech music scene, will perform music from his new CD „Autumn Tales“. He will share the stage with with top assembly bassist – Jaromír Honzák and drummer Marek Urbánek. The CD „Autumn Tales“ was released by the Animal Music label at the end of 2016 and has been called “a masterpiece” by the server Lidovky.cz, “timeless tales” by magazine Rock&All and “an unusually delicate album” by the server jazzport.cz. Dorůžka’s three older CDs have received the Anděl Awards for the Best jazz album of the year, as a sideman Dorůžka has appeared on more than 25 CDs. Dorůžka’s current trio stands out because of its unusually dynamic and sensitive interplay, deeply rooted in the jazz tradition, yet open to experiments and borrowing from other musical genres, ranging from rock influences and Middle Eastern grooves to adaptations of folk melodies and classical pieces.

Admission: seating CZK 300, standing CZK 200. There is no need to reserve a seat when purchasing a seating ticket.

According to the order of the government of the Czech Republic, entry to the concert is limited by valid regulations.
