The group is comprised of Dan Bárta (singer), Robert Balzar (double bass), Jiří Levíček (piano), Kamil Slezák (drums). Multi-genre singer Dan Bárta has collaborated with the Trio since 1999. The members have received numerous musical recognitions at the annual Czech Music Awards in genre and main categories. In 2010, they released their first album Theyories, It is full of own arrangements of compositions of interpreters that mostly influenced Dan Bárta in his singing career. The album contains songs of the world's major artists such as: Bjork, The Police, Simply Red, Jamiroquai, AC / DC…Followed by the live recording Jazz in Box in 2015. The Quartet is currently on building new repertoire for their next album which is recorded at Sear Sound Studio in New York and will be release next year and feature mostly our own compositions. D.Bárta & R.Balzar Trio have performed throughout Europe and USA.
