Aaron Parks Little Big - composer and pianist Aaron Parks will perform with his project Little Big. Aaron Parks began to make a name for himself at the turn of the millennium. In the noughties he came to prominence primarily as a sideman for Terence Blanchard. He achieved real success with his fifth album Invisible Cinema in 2008, released on the prestigious Blue Note label. The recording Little Big represents a deliberate return to the electric sound of Invisible Cinema. Featuring the same line-up of electric guitar, bass and drums, albeit with new musicians. Then back to a groove-heavy breakneck pace, in which all three instruments bounce between rhythmic, harmonic and melodic roles. Polyphone ideas of Cool-Jazz meet complex rhythmic finesse and central European melodic allusions. The stupendous virtuosity gleams through again and again and serves as a means for this purely acoustic, hand-made chamber jazz laden with overtones. Tobias Vedovelli, Štěpán Flagar and Martin Eberle play music that pairs sensuosity with an aspiration for creativity, the type of music that goes straight to the heart and excites the mind. Dorota Barová feat. Miloš Klápště - Barová's album Dotyk presents a collection of new original songs and lyrics recorded in a trio with guitarist Miroslav Chyška and bassist Miloš Klápště. With its intimate mood and refined simplicity, Dotyk loosely follows the previous Iluzja. "The album Dotyk is about encounters and moments, short and seemingly insignificant, but which ultimately can cause a storm and great changes in life. It's about the search for reconciliation not only with oneself. It is not only about love. The song is about fragility and the power of touch," says its author Dorota Barová about the album. This time they will perform only as a duo.
