Chuck Wansley & His Mini Big Band

Chuck Wansley was born in Queens, NYC and raised in a jazz loving family. Early professional life led to the Royal Albert Hall, La Scala and Carnegie Hall as drummer for 4 years with an international youth performance group. He has performed as concert opener for global acts like Earth, Wind & Fire, Chic and Tavares. Chuck was a founding member of NYC's first electro-hip hop group Warp-9, producing 2 albums and 6 top hit singles. In 2015 Chuck co-located to Prague (and Los Angeles) exploring his love for jazz and big band swing. Passionate for R&B he also launched a 10-piece funk band in 2018. Today he performs regularly in America and Europe with outstanding Prague-based musicians and is featured regularly as guest vocalist for festivals and concerts.
