Bohemia Saxophone Quartet - album release

The great saxophone quartet will play a special album release concert. This new CD contains compositions by saxophonist and teacher Pavel Pivarči, the most prominent figure of Czech jazz of his generation and sought-after songwriter for big bands (Contraband, Papaya Girls). The new album offers a summary of his work with 14 compositions composed or re-arranged for the saxophone quartet. The Bohemia Saxophone Quartet is a top chamber ensemble with a brilliant and colorful technique, balanced and distinctive sound, imaginative arrangements and a versatile repertoire that has won audiences over since the inception of the ensemble.
