Blue Shadows ft. James Harries

SPECIAL GUEST: Vladimír Mišík

After several successful gigs in January 2018, Blue Shadows with James Harries returns to Jazz Dock for one special gig in September, this time featuring Vladimír Mišík as a special guest. The band, consisting of musicians of diverse genres and backgrounds, released their debut album Blue Shadows in 2016, since this time playing live rarely. The members are Petr Ostrouchov, guitarist, composer of film music (six times nominated for the Czech Lion Award), producer and owner of the Animal Music record label; Josef Štěpánek, guitarist, arranger and producer; Martin Novák, drummer;  Matěj Belko bassist, guitarist and keyboardist; and Jan Keller, cellist of the Czech Philharmonic who has recently replaced founding member Jiří Bárta. British singer James Harries is a regular concert guest. Blue Shadows have recorded scores to the TV Miniseries Blue Shadows and Monsters of the Shore—and in 2018 they served as studio band for the new, long-awaited album of Vladimír Mišík, One Day I’ll Meet You. The September gig in Jazz Dock will give the audience a special opportunity to hear some of Mišík’s new songs at a concert premiere.
