Behind The Door

Last year in December they released their 4th studio album RA! under the musical direction of the great musician and producer Filip Jelínek (J.A.R, Dan Bárta, …). The album was wildly appreciated and they won the Jantar Cultural Prize of the Moravian-Silesian region as Band of the Year 2020. Their music is a colorful crossover between jazz and almost all genres of current popular music, telling catchy stories by musical means. The list of musicians Behind the Door have collaborated with is growing to respectable dimensions – Sexy Dancers, Monkey Business, Roman Holý, Vltava and Čechomor all have used the artistry of saxophonist Ondřej Klímek, bass guitarist Lukáš Čunta and drummer Matěj Drabina. Despite working with the greatest names in Czech pop and rock, for 17 years they have been able to continuously create with their jazz crossover project Behind the Door, which they founded as youngsters.
