Andrea Ruilova Barzola & Folhinha Band

Folhinha Band is an international project of Ecuadorian singer, pianist and composer Andrea Ruilova - Barzola. Ten years ago, she teamed up with three Czech musicians (Jiří Šimek - guitar, Filip Spalený - bass guitar, Filip Jeníček - drum kit), toured the Czech Republic together and recorded two albums. This time they added saxophone (Jakub Doležal) to their line-up and prepared new, fresh sounding material. Folinha Band is a very interesting mix of jazz and South American music - Andrea has lived and studied in Ecuador, Cuba, Brazil and Mexico. All these elements can be experienced at a concert of this band.
